Olympic 1980s Logos

Previously, I talked about 80s Olympic logos and how the main goal of the Olympics is to unite athletes and nations together around the world in a time of peaceful competition.

In the 90s, we see a stronger unity forming between each city logo. My assumption is that this layout order is on purpose, but it’s not uniform enough for me to be completely sure about it. It’s nice to see this set of logos displayed together. They are fairly harmonious with each other.

Like the 80s, here is a rough idea, but if I had any say over they years I might suggest unifying them something like this:
