Trikone Pride Flier

Trikone Pride Flier

No other culture can compare to India’s bountiful color and dancing. We brought elements of Bollywood to Trikone’s 2010 flier pairing it with the essence of Pride.

Genna & Jesse Flyer Series

Genna and Jesse Flyers

Genna & Jesse are a newly formed band from former members of Fiction Like Candy. The newly formed group needed quick turnaround, low-budget flyers to get their name out and advertise their upcoming shows. These flyers fit on a regular, letter-size sheet of paper and are printed at local print shops on an as-needed basis. They are then cut by hand with a paper cutter. It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Child Obesity

The American Obesity Foundation recognized that child obesity is on the rise. We created this set of three magazine public service announcements to get parents more involved with their children and their health.

Phone Crash

Years after cell phone usage boomed in the market we began to see its consequences. According to a study by University of Utah psychologists, talking on a mobile phone while behind the wheel is equivalent to driving while intoxicated. We created this public service announcement to educate people of the dangers in talking while driving.

Fiction Like Candy Marketing

FLC

Fiction Like Candy is an interesting trio. The feel from the music is strikingly unusual – their musical influences span a wide gamut – but is wonderfully sensuous, sultry and overall excellent.

In 2008, we designed a an EP and postcard (pictured above) as well as a website, buttons, posters, a press kit and other materials for them to promote themselves.

The personalities behind the band is definitely reflected in the music. Their style is urban-chic but chill, fanciful yet occasionally forceful. Their design need was as complex as their influences are wide. With a little flair, we delivered a solution that suits them as perfectly as their All-Stars do.

It could not be better said by anyone but them. "Imagine a punked-up mid-70s Joni Mitchell. Give her a band that crosses the heart Motown and Classic Rock. There you have it: Fiction Like Candy."
