Anyone who knows and loves New Orleans as much as I do should appreciate this poster. Normally, music fest posters are insane with too much information crammed into them. Now we all know how wild Mardi Gras or Southern Decadence can be, based on word-of-mouth, or the occasional news video clip, but the real New Orleans is a more laid back place. I used this to make my poster come to life. If you look closely, there are musical influences in the actual design of this voodoo doll, revealing how much music is truly an innate part of what makes New Orleans what it is.
