Trikone is locally run in San Francisco. It’s an international non-profit whose goals include raising awareness of LGBTQ issues specifically of and for South Asians. Red & Burgundy was asked to take on the redesign of Trikone’s quarterly magazine. We jumped on the prospect with gusto!
From a modern and approachable masthead to a consistent quality layout, and a fun and vibrant color spectrum reflecting the culture, we increased subscription over 17.5% in just one issue. Each issue has seen some increases in quality and design, and the future continues to look bright.
Fall through winter in the Bay Area turned out to be both tumultuous and unforgettable.
In the Winter 2008 issue of Trikone Magazine, we were fortunate to help share the recent and important moments in history for the magazine’s readers around the world. Proposition 8 opponents were out en masse for “No on Prop 8” marches. In less controversial news, The Colorful Duo (that’s us!) are also lucky to live practically next door to the newly opened California Academy of Sciences. Both were featured stories in this issue.
